Pierre D’Avesn (1901-1990): was a sculptor and draughtsman who graduated from the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where he was a pupil of François Decorchemont. He was employed by Lalique, where he worked for 10 years, and by Daum between 1930 and 1936.his works are characteristic of the Art Deco movement.
